Kinder Essex is a unique Essex programme to tackle social isolation and loneliness through acts of kindness and support – and forms part of the Essex Wellbeing Service. Formerly known as United in Kind, it underwent a brand refresh in 2025 in line with updated values and commitments.
Together with hundreds of community, charity and voluntary groups around Essex, Kinder Essex continues to build a community of kindness. This includes helping people to connect with friends, neighbours and strangers to combat and overcome feelings of isolation.
Kindness Coaches
Each district has its own dedicated Kinder Essex Coach helping to achieve the above whilst providing communities with workshops and support to deliver their own activities.
