United in Kind: what is it and how can it benefit Essex residents?

United in Kind (UIK) is a unique Essex movement to tackle social isolation and loneliness through acts of kindness and support – and forms part of the Essex Wellbeing Service.

Together with hundreds of community, charity and voluntary groups around Essex, UIK is building an online community of kindness. This includes helping people to connect with friends, neighbours and strangers to combat and overcome feelings of isolation.

United in Kind Coaches

Each district has its own dedicated United in Kind Coach helping to achieve the above whilst providing communities with workshops and support to deliver their own activities.

For support in planning and delivering activities in your area, or for help and advice on how to overcome loneliness and isolation, please contact us via 0300 303 9988 or provide.essexwellbeing@nhs.net and we can refer you directly to your local United in Kind Coach.
